Hello Again!

こんにちは。

Today we are going to learn about three things.

  1. Telling your favorite food to others.
  2. Offering someone a drink.
  3. Asking others about their breakfast habit.

 

TELLING YOUR FAVORITE FOOD TO OTHERS

アルミン:なに が すきですか? (nani ga suki desuka?)

サシャ:ポテト が すきです。(poteto ga suki desu)

アルミン: やさい は? (yasai wa?)

サシャ: やさい は すきじゃないです。(yasai wa suki janai desu)

Vocabulary

すきです : I like it.

すきじゃないです :  I don’t like it.

OFFERING SOMEONE A DRINK

デキム:おちゃ は のみますか? (ocha wa nomimasuka?)

セン:はい、おねがいします (hai, onegaishimasu)

デキム:みず は?(mizu wa?)

セン:いいえ、けっこうです。(iie, kekkou desu)

Vocabulory

はい、おねがいします : yes please

いいえ、けっこうです : a polite rejection, “No, thanks”.

 

ASKING OTHERS ABOUT THEIR BREAKFAST HABIT

キサメ:あさごはん を たべますか?(asagohan wo tabemasuka?)

イタチ:はい、たべます。(hai, tabemasu)

キサメ:なに を よく たべますか? (nani wo yoku tabemasuka?)

イタチ:たまご と パン を よく たべます。(tamago to pan wo yoku tabemasu)

Vocabulory

あさごはん : breakfast

ひるごはん: lunch

ばんごはん:dinner

よく : literally means (always) have the same meaning as いつも.
